Healing the sick was the way of Jesus to evangelize. He proclaimed good news (gospel) about the arrival of the Kingdom of God. He demonstrated that by healing.
Helsinki Vineyard have reached over 200 not-yet-Christians in HOTS during the last year. We have seen people saved, healed and renewed. People have been very positive about this kind of way to evangelize. The feedback has been very positive in streets.
The trainer is Mark Marx from North Ireland. Mark is part of Causeway Coast Vineyard where he has lived for the past ten years, with his wife Linda and their three sons. Mark has pioneered the development of their Healing on the Streets ministry which has seen the church praying for people on the streets every week since Easter of 2005 and is now rapidly spreading across Europe and beyond. Healing on the Streets has expanded about twenty countries and 700 churches. Each week churches and church leaders contact Causeway Coast Vineyard to figure out how they can lead their church out there among the people.
Our training is located in Andreaskyrkan (Swedish speaking Free Church, Korkeavuorenkatu 22, Helsinki).

Friday 3.9.2010
7-9.30pm - worship & first teaching
Saturday 4.9.
9-12 am worship & second teaching
12-1pm lunch time (there are good restaurants nearby)
1-3.30pm Healing on the Streets. We have two places in the centre where we pray for people. Mark will quide us more there.
4-5pm feedback and celebration on God's goodness
Please note! Healing on the Streets Training is free of charge but we kindly ask you to buy a training manual which costs 6 euros. The teaching of Mark Mark is based on this manual.
