Sunday Meetings

Helsinki Vineyard have three meetings per month on Sundays.

Sunday meeting is non-traditional worship service twice per month every second sunday at 4-6pm. The program includes worship (prayer with modern spiritual songs), relevant teaching, prayer ministry and the program for children and teenagers.

• Rays (4-7 yrs, games, short Bible teaching)
• Flames (8-11 yrs, games, short Bible teaching)
• Teenager group for younsters over 12 yrs

Equipping the Saints is a relaxed meeting once per month on Sunday at 4-6pm. The program includes refreshments, worship, Holy Communion, intercession for various themes and prayer ministry. After that we have some workshops available.

• Teenagers group for youngsters over 12 yrs

Reaching not-yet-Christians

Taking Healing on the Streets is our outreach which happens one a week in summer time and twice a month during the winter. We pray that the power of God will touch people and heal them from their sicknesses and pains. The aim is to meet people who don't know Jesus yet and invite them to follow Him. We do all our ministry in a loving way.

Alpha Course is a non-fanatic way to ponder about life and basic Christian teachings. The group will gather 11 times and includes free meal. This course is especially for those who wnat to know more about Christian faith or who have just recently became as Christians.

During the last four years we have participated in Urban Dream which is a servant evangelism outreach done with the other christian Churches.

Group activities

Weekly home groups are a vital part of caring our members because you may get new friends there, learn more about the Bible and receive prayer for your "hot topics". We wish that those who are involved with our church would be a part of a group.

Mission and church planting

Helsinki Vineyard give 10% of the annual income for the mission outside of Finland. We support Vineyard Norden church planting projects and the missionary work done by Marianne & Macdonald Masamba in Malawi.

We have planted a new Vineyard during 2010 in Järvenpää area. Our vision is to see many Vineyards planted around Finland.

Compassion Ministry

We give all Sunday meeting collections to Veikko ja Lahja Hurstin Laupeudentyö ry which is a Christian organization giving food and clothes for poor and marginalized people.

When a new baby is born we deliver free meals to new parents during the next week.

Healing and Counselling

We pray healing in our meetings for those who are physically sick, have emotional & relational problems or feel oppressed by the evil powers. Many people have more needs for discussions and prayer what we are able to offer in meetings. That's why we recommend some groups who are focused on healing.

Cross Current and Living Waters are discipleship and healing groups for those who want to grow in their manhood or womanhood and get healing for their relations and sexuality. Cross Current group gather 8 times and Living Waters is 30 week long.

We also recommend Healing Room, an interdenominatinal prayer ministry for those who need physical healing.
