First Vineyard Church in Finland!

Helsinki Vineyard was founded in 1997. Small group of people have grown and now there are over 100 people in our community, about 80 adults and 30 children.

Our mission is to be a church for such a time as this. That idea is from the Book of Esther (4:14) which is in Old Testament. It means that we want to be a church which...

is positive about the current culture and modern people
proclaims the gospel in a way modern people are able to understand and be transformed
bring God's perspective to the questions of this age

The style of Helsinki Vineyard is in between of Lutheran and free church (pentecostal, Finnish Free Church) christianity. Please look articles below if you want to know more about the genetic code (what is common things among different members of Vineyard family), priorites, values and the history of Vineyard.

We have started a new church plant "Vineyard Uusimaa" in autmn 2010 located in the area of Järvenpää and nearby comummunities. There are about 30 adults and 15 kids involved now.

We aim to plant many new Vineyards around the Finland in future, focusing mainly the big cities.
