Vineyard-seurakuntien toiminnan painopisteet, prioriteetit, ovat kuin pilarit, jotka kannattelevat koko rakennusta.

Palvonta

Haluamme, että Jeesus on elämämme keskus. Haluamme nähdä Hengen aikaan saamaa ylistystä, joka on tyyliltään intiimiä, dynaamista, nykyaikaista ja elämää muuttavaa. (Ps.42:1,2; 63:1-5; Joh.4:24; Room.12:1; 1 Kor.14:26; Ef.2:19-22; Fil.3:3; Hebr.13:5; 1 Piet.2:4)

Jumalan sana

Haluamme kuulla Jumalan sanaa opetettavan käytännöllisellä, innoittavalla tavalla, joka on yhteydessä Hänen profeetalliseen puheeseensa tänä päivänä. (Matt.7:24-27; Room.15:4; 1 Kor.14:26; 2 Tim.3:16,17; Jaak.1:22)

Yhteisöllisyys

Haluamme rakentaa yhteisöllistä seurakuntaelämää, jossa kehitämme aitoa ystävyyttä ja rakkauteen sitoutuvaa vastuullista käyttäytymistä toisiamme kohtaan. (Joh.15:5; 1 Kor.3:9-17; Ef.5:23-33; Ef.4:11-16; Fil.2:3-5; Kol.3:12-15; Hebr.3:12-14; 1 Piet.2:5,9)

Palveleminen (sairaat, kadotetut, köyhät)

Uskomme, että kaikki kristityt ovat kutsutut palvelemaan Kristusta Hänen Henkensä voimassa tavalla, joka rakentaa paikallista seurakuntaa. Meidät on kutsuttu tekemään Kristuksen työtä tänä päivänä, esimerkiksi …

  • Taivuttamaan ihmisiä kääntymykseen ja uskomaan Jeesukseen

  • Parantamaan sairaita

Valmentaminen

Olemme sitoutuneet Jeesuksen käyttämään ”näytä ja kerro, delegoi ja valmenna” –malliin, jossa valmennettavat otetaan käytännön työhön kouluttajien kanssa. Heitä opastetaan ja valmennetaan, jotta he voisivat opastaa myös toisia uskovia. (Matt.28:18-20; Luuk.6:17-18; 9:1-6; 10:1-20; Ef.4:11-16; 2 Tim.2:2;)

Lähettäminen

Haluamme omalta osaltamme uudistaa ja auttaa muita seurakuntia lähettämällä valmennettuja henkilöitä ja tiimejä lyhyille palvelumatkoille. Pyrimme rakentamaan Jeesuksen Kristuksen kirkkoa lähettämällä valmennettuja henkilöitä perustamaan uusia seurakuntia ympäri maailmaa. (Matt.10:5-15; Luuk.9:1-6; 10:1; Room.15:20; Ilm.5:9,10)

Priorities are like the pillar of the building that emerge directly from the foundation. The whole structure is built around these pillars. Priorities answer the question “What are our main points in ministry?”

1. Worship


 We desire to worship God with our whole being. We want Jesus at the center as our Lord. We hunger for the fullness of the Spirit... His glory resting upon us! (Psalm 42:1,2; 63:1-5; John 4:24; Romans 12:1; Philippians 3:3; Hebrews 13:5)

We desire Spirit-enabled worship in a style that is intimate, dynamic, culture current, and life changing. (1 Corinthians 14:26; Ephesians 2:19-22; 1 Peter 2:4)

2. The Word

We want to hear the Word of God taught in a practical, inspiring way, in conjunction with His current prophetic word. (Romans 15:4; 1 Corinthians 14:26; 2 Timothy 3:16,17)

We aim to hear and obey God's Word to us to be "doers of the Word" who are being transformed into the likeness of Christ. (Matthew 7:24-27; James 1:22)

3. Fellowship


Church is not an organization but an organism, it is the Body of Christ on earth (John.15:5; 1 Cor.3:9-17; Eph.5:23-33; 1 Pet.2:5,9) which includes human beings and relations. Organization should serve an organism.

We seek to develop real, intimate, enabling friendships together, built on covenant love, mutual responsibility and faithfulness. Healthy community creates healthy people. (Ephesians 4:11-16; Philippians 2:3-5; Colossians 3:12-15; Hebrews 3:12-14)

4. Ministry (the sick, the lost, the poor)


We believe that all Christians are called to serve Christ in the power of His Spirit, in ways that build up the local church. (Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-7; 1 Peter 4:10,11)

We are called to do the ministry of Christ in the world today, for example…

preach the Gospel of the Kingdom

persuade men to repent and believe in Jesus

heal the sick

care for the poor and those in need

counsel those in need of God's wisdom

teach believers to follow Christ

give our resources to the work of Christ

train Christians to serve the Lord.

5. Training


We believe that all Christians should be trained to "do the works of Christ."

(Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Timothy 2:2)

We are committed to the "show and tell" model of "on the job" training, in which trainees are introduced to doing ministry functions with trainers and then are taught during and after the training experience. (Luke 11:1-4)

We aim to provide training for all aspects of responsible Christian life and ministry.

(Ephesians 4:11-16)

6. Sending


We aim to renew, refresh, and enable existing churches by sending trained personnel out on short-term ministry trips. (Matthew 10:5-15; Luke 9:1-6; 10:1)

We aim to build the Church of Jesus Christ by sending trained personnel to plant churches around the world. (Romans 15:20; Revelation 5:9,10)
